That's just plain wrong. Hilarious, but wrong. There's so much grist for this mill. Sports affords us an opportunity for more puns than we deserve.
P.S. Before you have a stroke about my punctuation...the comma after hilarious is not grammatical; it functions here as a caesura.
I don't understand all of your highfallutin talk, but I guess you're right.
